BARCADOURO – Sociedade de Turismo Fluvial e Terrestre, Lda., headquartered  in Rua da Malvasia, nr.90, 5140-154 Linhares CRZ, Carrazeda de Ansiães, registered at the C.R.C. de Carrazeda de Ansiães under the nr. 503588849, Tax Identification Number 503588849, registered capital share of 100.000,00 euros, and with offices in Avenida Ramos Pinto, Loja 240 – Cais de Gaia, 4400-161 Vila Nova de Gaia.

Reservations

Reservations must be made in writing and will only be considered effective after full payment of the total price of the Cruise.

Payment

100% when booking.

How to Book Online

Only people over 18 years old can make online reservations on this website.

By making an online reservation on this website the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions.

In order to make an online reservation, the Client must 1) select the cruise he wants in the menu of this website "ONLINE RESERVATION"; 2) select the desired date for the cruise; 3) indicate the number of passengers and hit the “NEXT” button; 4) fill all the fields presented in the form and hit the “NEXT” button; 5) Check all information regarding his reservation and proceed to payment. 6.) After making the payment, the client shall receive an automatic email message confirming the reservation with the amount paid. 7) In a timeframe of maximum 96 hours, the Client will receive by email all the documentation related to his reservation.

Minimum Participants

All Cruises offered on this website are subject to a minimum number of participants as defined by Barcadouro. If the number of participants is insufficient, Barcadouro reserves the right to cancel the Cruise returning to Clients any monies already paid without being obliged to pay any further compensation.

Prices

The prices of each cruise are based on the prevailing costs at the edition date of this website. The prices can be changed up to 20 days before the beginning of each cruise if there are variations in the cost of its component parts. Any price change will be communicated to the Client that, within a period of time set by Barcadouro, will either accept the price change or cancel the reservation according to the terms and conditions established on these Terms and Conditions. The prices mentioned on this website will have a reduction of 100% for children up to 3 years old and a reduction of 50% for children aged between 4 and 11 years old.  All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.

Taxes and other tariffs/fees

The prices stated in this website already include VAT at the corresponding rates.

Cancellations

Barcadouro reserves the right to cancel any cruise or programme by:

1. lack of a minimum number of participants;

2. circumstances beyond the control of Barcadouro including, but not limited to: adverse weather conditions and unfavourable navigability conditions;  breakdowns in the navigation locks, breakdowns or damages on the vessels and unforeseen delays, among others.

3. failure of service supplies provided by third parties, including strikes, unavailability of accommodation and hired transportation.

In the circumstances set out in items 1. 2.  and 3., the Client may opt for the reimbursement of amounts already payed or accept another cruise suggested by Barcadouro, with its price variation.  The cancellation of any reservation by the Client implies the payment of 15%, 30%, 75% or 100% of the total price of the cruise whenever the cancellation of the reservation occurs with a notice period of 30, 15, 7, 3 or fewer days of the beginning of the cruise respectively. In addition, the Client will be charged for all expenses and costs incurred by Barcadouro including but not limited to bank charges, transport, hotels or any other non-refundable charges.

Changes

Barcadouro reserves the right to change itineraries, replace vessels by other means of transportation, replace complementary transportation (train, bus, or others), replace hotels by others of similar category and location whenever unforeseen circumstances beyond its control occur, including but not limited to, particular climatic conditions  and unfavourable navigability conditions, failure of services supplied by third parties, strikes and breakdowns in the navigation locks, malfunctions, damages and delays in vessels.

Smoke Policy

Smoking is only allowed in the sun deck.

Pets

Only assistance dogs are allowed on board (D.L. 74/2007 of 27/Mar)

Complaints

Complaints will only be considered when made by the participants during the cruise and submitted in writing during the next 5 days.

Insurance

The responsibility of Barcadouro is guaranteed by the insurances required by the Portuguese Law.

Validity

This website and these Terms and Conditions are valid from   the 1^st of January  2022 to the 31^st of December 2022.
